What does Head Office see in the QIP – All Services view?

How Head Office and Area Managers use the QIP – All Services aggregate view to monitor compliance across services, drill into a single service, and why they cannot edit a service's QIP from here.

Short answer

Head Office users see "QIP – All Services" — a centralised view of QIP progress across all enterprise services. It shows aggregate compliance and quality data across the 7 Quality Areas, then lets you drill into any one service's detailed QIP data using a service selector dropdown. Head Office can view this data but cannot edit a service's QIP from here.

Who this applies to

This applies to Head Office Super Admin, Admin Deputy, and Area Manager. Area Managers can only see the services they are assigned to. Enterprise Service and Stand-Alone users see the service-level "QIP Summary" page instead.

How Head Office navigation differs

Head Office users do not see the full QIPDesk sub-menu (Service Details Report, Laws and Regulations, NQS, QIP Goals). Clicking QIPDesk in the side menu goes straight to the "QIP – All Services" page. To see a specific service's detail, use the service selector dropdown on that page.

How to use it

  1. Click QIPDesk in the side menu. The "QIP – All Services" page loads with the aggregate bar chart and the Laws and Regulations tab active.

  2. Review the aggregate bar chart — tall red bars in a Quality Area indicate multiple services with non-compliance (or Not Met items on the NQS tab) in that area.

  3. Use the "Select for a service" dropdown below the chart to choose a service.

  4. The detail view loads that service's Laws and Regulations and NQS data, mirroring what the service sees in its own QIP Summary.

  5. Switch the Laws and Regulations / NQS tabs, or select a different service to compare.

Area Manager scope

An Area Manager only sees aggregate data and dropdown options for their assigned services. An Area Manager with no assignments sees an empty dropdown and a chart with no data, and must be assigned services by a Head Office Super Admin or Admin Deputy first.

What Head Office cannot do here

The "QIP – All Services" page is for monitoring and oversight only. Head Office users cannot edit a service's compliance statuses, key practices, or any QIP entry from this page. All editing is done by the service's own Admin and Manager from within their QIPDesk sections.
