What is the QIP Summary page?

How to read the service-level QIP Summary dashboard — the Laws and Regulations and NQS tabs, the bar charts, and the Outstanding Non-Compliance and Not Met accordions.

Short answer

The QIP Summary page is the landing page for QIPDesk at service level. It gives Admin and Manager users a high-level visual summary of QIP progress across both Laws and Regulations and the National Quality Standard, so you can see compliance and quality status per Quality Area at a glance without opening each section.

Who this applies to

The QIP Summary page is available to Service Admin and Service Manager only. Team Members cannot open this page. Head Office users see a different page called "QIP – All Services".

How to open it

  1. In the left side menu, go to QIPDesk.

  2. Click QIP Overview — it is the first item in the QIPDesk sub-menu.

  3. The QIP Summary page loads with the Laws and Regulations tab active by default.

What it shows

Laws and Regulations

A colour-coded bar chart and summary table across all 7 Quality Areas, plus an Outstanding Non-Compliance accordion. Green = Compliant, Red = Non-Compliant, Grey = Not Applicable.

National Quality Standard

A bar chart and summary table across all 7 Quality Areas, plus an Outstanding Not Met Issues accordion. Green = Met, Red = Not Met.

Finding what needs attention

Scroll to the red Outstanding Non-Compliance accordion (Laws and Regulations tab) or the Outstanding Not Met Issues accordion (NQS tab). Expanding either shows the issues grouped by Quality Area, with the regulation or element code, the question text, and the status.

Taking action from the overview

The QIP Summary page is a read-only summary. To change a compliance status, add a key practice, create an action plan, or attach evidence, navigate into the relevant QIPDesk section — Laws and Regulations, National Quality Standard, or QIP Goals/Action Plans.
